Craig Cortello,

The "Business Musician" Speaker, Trainer, & Featured Author

One of my primary objectives for writing this book was to positively impact music education by providing a unique advocacy tool. Use the resources available here to learn, and most importantly,

Music Education Advocacy

  • 93% of Americans agree that the arts are vital to providing a well-rounded education for children

  • 62% believe that there are other people or organizations in the community who are better suited to take action (than they are).

  • 40% say that they do not know how to get involved in arts education.*

A study of policymakers** (completed by the Education Commission of the States) around the country indicated the following:

  • They all believe Arts education is important

  • They never hear from their constituents on this issue

THEIR CONCLUSION: Arts education is not broken and doesn't need attention.
